I Love: Analogue Photography

 

 

Analogue photography, the mainstream before the invention of digital. Dated maybe, but never lost it's touch! Though it's a load of extra work, nothing can be compared to the moment your beloved pictures are handed to you by the foto-developing-lab-magician-man!

I like: Clothing

Last few days I have been extraordinary busy with a project, which consisted of making clothes for my school. I remember the woman at the fabric store telling, with a hint of a smile, that it would take "just one evening, max" to stitch together the pieces of cloth I had just bought, and voilà, a handmade shirt would be born! Even a child could do it! She even told me about this one time, a rabbit did it, and it took the rabbit only half an hour! Or that was just a daydream..

Four days later I've finally managed to stop stitching the back to the front and the front to the back, every 5 minutes; let's call it progress. I hope that I will be able to post some pictures of me wearing it in a day or two.

 One of the things that has stolen my heart is the art of photography, so that's something I'll be posting A LOT (be prepared).
Here are some shot's I made in NYC with a polaroid camera. The middle one is one I screwed up, so I decided to scratch it up.

Hi there,
My name is Cat. I'm born in Europe and raised somewhere in the North. My life exists only of things that interest me. In other words, I like things I like and am always searching for things I never thought of liking. For years this has been something that I did only for myself, until I was caught by the idea that perhaps I'm not the only one adoring the things I find. Maybe somebody else.. Maybe even YOU like the the same things!

To make a long story short, I'll be posting stuff I like on this very page. It can be all sorts of things, such as pictures I've taken, or sketches I made or objects I find on the web.
Maybe you'll like everything as well and maybe not. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy spending time on this page, just as much as I like to compose it.
